Jessmarie Delgado
Legal Assistant
Jessmarie was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, and has since lived in New Jersey and Connecticut. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Forensics and a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven.
Prior to transitioning into the legal field, Jessmarie spent several years in the fine jewelry industry, where she honed her strong client service, clear communication, and keen attention to detail. During her time at university, she served as a Resident Assistant for three consecutive years, held the role of Public Relations Chair for the Psychology Club, and actively contributed to various organizations, including the Yale Prison Education Initiative (YPEI) and Team Select at the Beckerman Recreation Center.
Jessmarie further built her legal experience as a Family Services Intern with the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch. This role provided her with deep insight into the legal system and sharpened her ability to manage sensitive information, communicate professionally, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
In her free time, she likes to travel to new locations and read.
